1) New maps, including some old maps will be available for online play.
2) A total of 8 modes will be available for play. This includes the 5 modes that were available on SOCOM: FTB (Suppression, Captive, Demolition, Extraction, Free for all) as well as 3 new modes (control points, capture the flag and target). Target involves one player getting an item and running around with it while everyone else hunts him down for that item, and then they become the target.
